Fords International . . . A New Beginning |

A few weeks ago, we
announced that `57 Fords International was in the process of
making a comeback. Since then, we have voted on and
chosen a new club logo, very nicely done by the talented
Matt Labutte. We have drawn up a club charter and are
working on club bylaws now. We are planning three
events this year, one on the west coast, one in the midwest,
and the other on the Gulf coast. Watch this site for
news and further developments.

I have changed the forums and added
a new photo gallery that is tied to the forum, eliminating
the troublesome gallery we had before. The new gallery
is much more user friendly, and I think users will enjoy
it. This parent site will have some new additions soon
as well, including members projects, and For Sale features,
as well as some spillover articles from the newsletter.

Newsletter |

`57 Fords
International, as a club devoted to one year of one make of
car, will get a newsletter. I plan to have a
newsletter ready for download by the middle of January, so
watch for it. The newsletter will be different
from the past, in that it will be electronic, or
e-published.. What is e-publishing?
E-publishing is the production of the clubs newsletter and
making it available on the internet. Because paper,
ink, printing costs, and postage have gone through the roof,
we will no longer have a printed newsletter. Each
newsletter will be produced in full color, no black and
white at all, unless the images are vintage. This will
allow you to see the newsletters as I intended them in the
beginning. I still have almost all of the newsletters
from the past, all in full color, and will place them up for
download in the near future. Again, these
are all full color, even the ads, cover, index pages, and so
forth. Once you download these, in Adobe format, you
can print them in full color for a hard copy. This is
the best way to do this, so you can see these cars and
articles the way they were intended to be enjoyed. Be
watching at the first of the year for these to be placed up
for download.
